ADVANCED CONCEAL CARRY CLASS

 

Defensive Handgun/Pistol Class aka Advanced Conceal Carry will be offered August 24, 2024 9 am - 5 pm. This is a full day class to take those with a conceal carry permit to the next level of tactical self defense and handgun handling.  

The NRA Defensive Pistol Course will focus on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. The goal of the course will be to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry and use a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly and with confidence.

As a result of participating in this course, the student will be able to explain and demonstrate the following:

  • how to apply the NRA Rules for Safe Gun Handling when carrying a concealed firearm;

  • basic principles of concealment;

  • the difference between cover and concealment;

  • drawing from the holster;

  • levels of mental awareness;

  • developing the proper mindset when using a pistol for personal protection;

  • clearing common stoppages;

  • use of pocket pistols; and more

    Registration $120. Participants will need approximately 250 rounds of ammunition and a handgun of their choice to complete the course. If a rental handgun is needed, rental fee is $15 not including ammunition. Call the store to register. 320-859-5159 or e-mail gunsgalore@arvig.net

Taught by NRA Certified Instructors

This class is designed for Permit to Carry holders. Things to bring: a handgun, eye and ear protection and 200 rounds of ammunition. To register, call 320-859-5159.
